Baton Rouge double homicide 3/21/23

What is amazing is that through yesterday, there have been 18 homicides in EBR. Add these two to reach 20. Assuming there are no more this month (which is unlikely), EBR is on pace for less than 100 homicides this year. Through this point last year we were nearing 40 homicides.

How odd. In my city there were only two murders for the entire year. What do you guys have going on there?

Very sad what has happened to sections of this city. I used to live on Adams Avenue as a kid a million years ago. Funny, there were never homicides back then.

adams ave is a slum street.
5 blocks from plank road in north BR. least surprising news ever.
