Feeding deer in Kansas

Because there’s so much available food with all of the crops planted in the state, do locals or non residents with leases feed deer? If they do, are food plots the standard or do they throw protein pellets or other food?

yes. Our place is leased by a well known land manager who host a lot of hunters we all see on tv. He is constantly battling with the guy that has the grazing lease because he wants to fence off areas to do plots and feeders

It’s so easy to pattern deer in Kansas that it really isn’t needed.
