Look, I love Bruce and Stidham is a complete idiot, but the recruiting part has been an issue. It's actually our main issue and concern.

Mainly because we aren't recruiting the numbers we need. Bruce has had the mentality lately that he's either going top 50 prospect or going with the portal, but he's missing on most the top 50 prospects and not getting enough top portal players either.

Bruce has been most successful when we have solid 4 star high three stars that developed (see Okeke, Harper, Brown, etc). That's also what Oats has been super successful with, mixing solid four stars with great transfers.

It doesn't help that our last couple top 50 prospects have busted horribly, but we have to do a better job recruiting both high school and the portal to have a more balanced team and have sustained success in the tournament. Hopefully we switch to Nike and that helps, but we need to do better regardless.

When two of your Bball schollies are being used by Addarin Scott and a walkon, you aren't doing amazing in recruiting.
