It's only a matter of time before dealers start lacing it with fentanyl. The addiction factor, from what I understand is ridiculously strong.
An old friend of mine ended up heavily addicted to drugs. He started with weed and likely would have stayed there, but someone gave him a joint laced with meth (he didn't realize it was laced). He's told me that he realized there was no turning back within the first few seconds after taking a hit from it.
Fentanyl is supposed to be even more addictive than meth, so it's not hard to imagine weed laced with it would create instant addicts.
