I'm here for all the Pels that were making clap threads, celebrating draft swaps and mocking the covid title which *checks notes* is more than the Pelicans have ever won in New Orleans.

I'm a nobody & a passive NBA fan, but this board has made me hate the Pelicans & become a Lakers fan. I don't even know right now

I’m not a Lakers fan, so I can’t speak for how they feel about the trade. This board has been so insane and stupid with the takes about the Lakers that I’m just mocking the Pels fans for the same reasons you point out.
I will say that even if the Pels won the trade, it still seems really weird and silly to gloat about as it directly led to a title for the Lakers. The Pels got better trade value and the Lakers got a ring - every fan knows which outcome they would prefer their team to get in a trade.
