Is there a certain HD that this thing will prefer ? i had to buy the special "internal hd" for the Xbox otherwise the games would not run properly

Plug it in and play. You can add an additional SSD for more space if you would like but nothing extra is needed
also as long as you have ps plus on your main account , you can have as many alt accounts as the system allows (no clue on max but I’ve had 10 at one point lol)
