Looking at getting a PS5 to replace my Sons Series S...I'll keep the X plugged in with the PS5 on my TV, and since most of the games he plays on his are available on the PC, he can always use it that way..

My concern, is that I've been in the Msoft environment for almost 20 years now..In that time, I've played everything at least once (almost literally) and i still only have a handful of games that i circle back to ( I still play BF4 with a crew)..

Is PSPlus similar to gamepass ? Am I able to just subscribe and play that list of games ? For the free monthly one, do you keep that as long as your sub is gone ?

Thought of a few more:

Can you have two profiles on one PS and share the plus ?
Is there a certain HD that this thing will prefer ? i had to buy the special "internal hd" for the Xbox otherwise the games would not run properly

meh... they've come out with a tier subscription similar to GamePass, but it's game list is lacking.

it will remain in your library, but your membership must be active to play it.

the higher tier subscription has a log of games like gamepass. i dont know how extensive it is in regards to ps4 titles, which he shouldnt pass on. there are very few ps5 exclusives right now and ps4 still has teeth.

As for the monthly "free" games you can keep those as long as you snag them during the free month. if your subscription ever expires i think you lose them.
