The question was back in the 1980s and "Boomers" did not, by and large, have ED in the 80s - the oldest Boomers were mid-40s by the end of the 80s, my dude.

So, yes, they probably started reporting problems to the docs in the early 90s, maybe (your "30 years ago"), but not in the huge ( ) numbers they did in the late 90s, early aughts with the rise of Viagra (and other ED drugs).

ETA: And the late boomers are just now hitting their early 60s.
