My hats definitely off to that Soldier or Sailor. The courage and fight he has in him I wish half our country still had today. I hope we do.

When did you serve?
I was on Submarine Duty in the 60's. (Cold War) There were two Chiefs on the Sub who were on Submarines in WW II. Chief Henson from Ky was Chief of the Boat. Outstanding man/Sailor.
Chief Kovac, Pennsylvania, was another, Master Chief Missile Technician. What a leader and inspiration. I'd serve anytime with those guys. Too bad they are deceased. I'd like to thank them again for their service and leadership for young sailors like me.

Your first reply was not a good one and unwarranted. I am glad you apologized.

So the only way to contribute in a positive way to society is to serve in the military?
