if the defense finishes out the season strong, with solid performances in our last three regular season games plus the bowl game?

Or does giving up 50+ in two games require a change of some sort?

Nice to see the defense redeem themselves after the nice performance against Bama.

the defense looked pretty good. but, i just can't see having two for another year. i mean, no matter how close you are to someone, when your job depends on such crucial decisions you are bound to disagree with one another at least half of the time.

The Cos will get exposed again against the spread.

Regardless of how we finish the season out, we need to find a way how to stop the spread. I don't think our two headed monster grasped ways to do that.

I think the way their position coaching responsibilities have resulted in falling production (for example Peveto's LBers have gotten worse as the season has gone on) will require Miles to make a change. Especially considering the season we all expect LSU could have next year.

1 game shouldn't save their jobs...they have been terrible.

They'll be fired after the game Saturday night.

some tweaking, but not firing IMO. I bet some position coaches get fired, however.

I think Troy and Ole Miss will move the ball but I think we win both. If that does happen then imo the should not be off the hot seat. If they finish strong then I don't have a huge problem with them getting a second chance.

TCU. Oh yeah, Ole Miss will put up some serious yards/points against us. It wouldn't suprise me at all if we were to lose that game.

LSU has not covered a back out of the backfield all season long and that isn't the player's fault that is a fundamental error in coaching and philosophy.

I would run wheel routes with my TB all game long against LSU until they figured out an adjustment. Against Bama they never did adjust and Coffee was wide open seemingly every time he left the backfield

From the standpoint of shear defensive production... the COs did not field a consistently organized, focused or intense team this year. In the SEC, you have to have a strong de3fensive presence that can direct a team's defensive scheme and make it better as the year goes on.

Its time for the COs to go back to their positions and Les to hire a great, up and coming defensive mind to lead us next year and beyond.

I am ready to get back to allowing 10 pts per game and 200 yards.... now THAT's LSU Football !!!

No. We need an overhaul on defense.

Auburn and Arkansas exposed Saban defenses with RB or FB out of the backfield routes but they had to scheme and formation to set it up. This LSU defense doesn't even need to be set up by scheme or formation, they just ignore the backs whether they are flaring out or running the wheel route

remember in the 4th qtr the RB for MooState was wide arse open running down the sideline and if he catches the ball right there the MooState game might have turned out differently
