texridder, do you every reflect back on how many of your beliefs are always so easily proven wrong?
First, let's deal with the topic of this thread.
Of course, if you count all scientific studies as a group, it might well be that a greater number may be false. But, that doesn't mean that holds for all studies, regardless of the background of the scientists who produced the study, the funding, the nature of the study, the size of the study, the methodology (randomized/controlled), and where it is published.
The below is a quote from one of the articles you posted (Big Think article), which might call into question the diligence with which you reviewed the articles you posted, since it seems to be at odds with what you seem to be advocating:
quote:
The rate of findings that have later been found to be wrong or exaggerated has been found to be 30 percent for the top most widely cited randomized, controlled trials in the world’s highest-quality medical journals. For non-randomized trials that number rises to an astonishing five out of six.
Since there are a plethora of lower quality, smaller sized studies, and those with questionable methodologies, the sheer numbers of those studies would undoubtedly skew the overall quality rating.
Secondly, since you must have reviewed my posts to have implied "how many of your beliefs are always so easily proven wrong", why don't you post a couple of those "easily proven wrong" beliefs so we can take a look at them?

I just posted this one, and you still act like you werent wrong
Most studies today are wrong, due to funding bias, HARKing, team bias, falsification, lack of reliability, etc. Yet you have convinced yourself it isnt true
We know the vaccine studies were BS. From real world data, particpants still caught the virus, and eventually became more likely to spread and/or be hospitalized. But you still deny any of that
Plus, the further studies that say the mRNA vaccines are as safe as a traditional vax, yet VAERS has exploded as well as the documented rates of increases in unexplained sudden death. And you wont accept that either
