How confident are you that should DeSantis beat Trump in the primary, Trump will throw his support behind DeSantis to make sure the country does not have to live through another Biden/Biden-like four years?

I think it depends. Did the party simply provide a platform and let the republican voters decide who the nominee will be? Or did they continue using every shitty method in their arsenal to destroy Trump's candidacy? Was power and influence used to freeze Trump out? If so, I seriously doubt Trump would endorse the nominee that such a process would produce, and I would not blame him one bit. As a matter of fact, at that point I would very much want Trump to go scorched earth, however he chooses. His own party stood by and watched as he was railroaded by the FBI, the DNC, the propaganda media, the WHO, the CDC, and the marxist democrat party.

And you support for president a guy that would rather keep Biden in charge than support a Ron DeSantis? That seems off to me.

Why would you expect the RNC to do something that Trump's own administration didn't bother doing? He was in charge of the FBI/DOJ, the intelligence agencies and the CDC while they railroaded him.
