As it turned out, we got a bad draw with Ohio State last year--they were underseeded. But with Morris hurt, quite a few teams could have beaten us.

Ohio st was also a terrible matchup for LSU. Excluding the loss of Morris who was basically giving LSU 20 PPG down the stretch, Ohio St was a very strong 3 point shooting team.
Guess what last years 3 point defense ranked for LSU? #341 in the nation, nearly dead last of D1
This years 3 point D is ranked #18 nationally. They should be able to get to a sweet 16 from home with a healthy Morris, Reese and Flaujae. Everything else is purely on matchups.
They do need to get more from Carson down the stretch although I’m not sure if it’s feasible at this point. We may end up seeing mostly Poole or Poa
