I have vortex 3x on my AR I like. Seems to be perfect for 100 yards and under.

Would be better than the Romeo 5 or MSR. Up your budget to get at least a Aimpoont Carbine Otic, Romeo 4 or Holosun $400 range optic. You will be happier in tge long run

This Holosun might be worth a look
It’s the 530G and has a titanium case. It’s really close to the Sig Romeo 4 line for a few dollars less.
