You're looking at it from a tanks and bullets perspective, which is wrong. We wouldn't square off in some open piece of land like 2 western gunfighters. We'd simply starve them. They have no blue water Navy, so no real way to project power. The entire OP is a dumb question. We'd wreck China and they know it. Why do you think, with all of their supposed military might that's supposed to able to defeat the U.S., they've allowed Taiwan to sit right off their coast and thumb their noses at the CCP for 70 years?
