I know "pick me" boogers are the ones they hang out the end of your nose. In that little pocket. And they kind of bond with the little hairs and the buggers hang on for dear life. You really gotta use your fingers to get 'em to come loose.

But a pick me is a girl who changes her opinion to appeal to the men she is around. Basically saying whatever she thinks will get her the most attention. Therefore, her convictions can change daily. A critical part of this is putting down other women to elevate themselves. They can rarely hold female friendships for any length of time.
The biggest red flag, as slag has pointed out, is using any variation of “I’m just not like other girls”
Commonly seen as well is the classic “I get along with guys so much more than girls”

From my limited understanding, it is a woman that is conservative, traditional in values and considered to be a tom-boy that does not like to deal with the drama that CAN come from women....

That’s a new one for me.
I don’t think political leaning has anything to do with it. Or issues with being a tomboy as well…as long as you aren’t putting down and stepping all over other women while making pronouncements that you are said tomboy.
The key here is in the not hating women part.

Classic tomboys can get along with other females, therefore they have other female friends. I’ve got plenty of tomboy friends.
Pick mes can’t. They have to constantly try to set themselves apart and put other women down to get the attention they crave.

Narcissist (male or female) are some of the worst human beings and oddly the hardest to treat as they are so oblivious to their own faults they are the last to seek mental health help when they need it the most.
