At least with respect to our society:
Your health insurance ought to reflect higher premiums if you choose to be obese because you are going to pose a disproportionate strain on the healthcare system.
We ought to subsidize healthier foods and condemn false marketing practices like whatever made people believe Gatorade’s flavored sugar and salt water is healthy or that sugary cereal is healthy because it’s “part of a balanced breakfast”
We need more walkable cities and a society that encourages going outside.
And this body positivity, “healthy at any size” movement needs to just die. It’s lying to people.
