I suppose you realize the 1900 picture is of the Paris World's Fair. Those buildings were made of prefab wood panels on a steel frame. They were immediately disassembled at the fair's conclusion and sold as scrap.
The same thing occurred in Buffalo in 1901 at the PanAmerican Expo (where McKinley was assassinated). Magnificent looking structures, all a facade, all temporary, all demolished.
The above staged photo means nothing. (other than as a nice Photo op. "Look at the planning phase! See the blueprints and models? Yup. We're gonna build what's *already* built.")
You are welcome to believe the narrative -- hundreds of acres are supposedly cleared, then ENTIRE city structures -- intricately designed and appointed with statuettes, ginger-bread and regal moldings -- all claimed to have been built out of minimal steel framing, plaster and wood and straw and "temporary"? (Not to mention dredging out canals & bulkheads? Paving streets? Installing electric, water & sewer infrastructures? (Only to be displayed for 6 months??)
I've been in the building/development trade. The amount of engineering would have been prohibitive by a factor of thousands. These world's fairs yarns are insanity. In what world does ANY of this make sense??
Why build multi-story structures -- festooned with domes, towers, fountains, electric -- only to knock all of it down six months later?? (btw, looks a lot like Paris.)
The reason glorious Buffalo was considered as a World's Fair was precisely that it was an OLD major US city... and ALREADY BUILT OUT at the time of discovery OR "Founding"; It eventually was not going to be easily explained.
The number of olde buildings and structures --even AFTER the demolition -- was substantial; Even AFTER the greats fire of *both* 1812 *and* 1850. (That's right -- there were TWO major fires in Buffalo, NY. They helped thin out the buildings of an existing great (olde) city.

I love how you deny every photo that’s presented as a counter argument while continuously presenting a photo as an argument.
