May God bless your father for his service to our country. My two oldest brothers were Vietnam Vets. One of them an advocate for Vets in Oregon and California. His good friend did research for two authors of two different books on Veterans and POW's from the Vietnam war. As disgusting a person as Fonda was and is the note passing story never happened. My brother's friend interviewed Capt. Larry Carrigan and Jerry Driscoll the F-4e pilot that was supposedly beaten so severely that he suffered from double vision. They both denied that this ever happened and that they were never anywhere around her. The original story was that all but Driscoll was beaten to death. Then they were all severely beaten. This never happened. The author of the original e-mail that contains the story Charles Klingman, denies ever having written the story. The three ex-pows whose names did surface all deny that this ever happened. Never be afraid to follow the truth no matter where it leads you.

While in Hanoi, Ms. Fonda visited numerous POW’s. Many of them passed small pieces of paper to her with their name, rank and serial number on it assuming she would take those papers with her and turn them over to US officials. This small act would at least confirm to their loved ones that they were alive. She took the papers and turned them over to North Vietnamese officials. As a result all were severely beaten.

Is there any evidence at all to support this story? How would anyone, other than Fonda or the North Vietnamese Officials, be aware of this story, if true? It sounds made up.

Wait so the OT was FOR the Vietnam War? Geez. My uncle won’t even talk about it for the horrendous stuff they were made to do and he has a Purple Heart.

Unlike her, she chose to go over there to support NVA.

The people she was against were poor and lower middle class avg Joe’s forced to serve in a draft.

She should be in jail for what she did.
