I’d focus more on the quality and attention to detail of the installer more so than the manufacturer of the equipment - regardless of manufacturer most single stage condensing units are comparable in function and reliability - each has pros and cons.
But since you said your house has mostly Carrier components, I’d personally try to go with a Carrier condensing unit that is matched to your Carrier indoor air handler/furnace/evaporator coil, as you indicate only the condensing is being replaced.

The house was built in 2011 and in a few years I will most likely replace what’s in the attic. I didn’t know if I got something else if that would interfere with the Carrier stuff that is in the attic or not.
