1 thing they should do is instead of taps/temp/transition, is put that service member in front of a VA rep like they do for med boards. This would ensure accuracy at the time of transitioning and fix this mess.
I’m a Marine and went out medically. I was at wounded warrior bn and the resources there are something that every service member should be entitled to, (ill, injured, or wounded). An example of my last year, I was sent to brooks Army hospital in Texas as a Marine to fix a service connected issue.
The problem is that individual service branches don’t take care of their service members as they should. IMO.
