VA disability is abused and it is easy to get 100%. Some of the disabilities are just based off what the veteran says and can’t be proven to be a lie.

I’d disagree and more people should probably rate benefits according to 38 CFR Book C. Depending on the disability, documentation, etc. If a service member went through there and looked at each threshold, I’m pretty confident to say with exam and documentation per condition it could be met very easily. That doesn’t mean it’s handed out

There’s always 2 types of ppl who get bent out of shape over this. (1) Service members who try to bullshite their way and get denied and (2) civilians who have no clue.

Of course I’m a veteran and this will sound biased but anyone who honorably served should be taken care of. Less than 1% of the population has served over time and roughly 7% of current population are veterans.

If anyone needs help with this, seek out your local VA rep. Even with a zero % rating of one condition the VA can be used. < prime example of how many ppl don’t actually file.

I know two, working full time office jobs, getting more in Vet payments NOW (for "disabilities" that are impossible to detect) than most any of us will get from SS. While they're gainfully employed. So they're doubling up, and will get these payments for the rest of their lives.

One got retro-payment all the way back to when he started his claim process...which had to be 10 years.

It's like any government program. Bloated. Expensive. Corrupt.
