Would love to see some of these sports added as official NCAA accredited programs. Throw in wrestling, and men’s soccer.

Realistically, LSU would have to add in a women's equivalent in order to remain Title IX compliant. The natural pairing would be women's lacrosse.
Overall, LSU could add on to the woccer facility & get year round use out of that space. But 2 new coaching staffs & 12.6 scholarships per squad & the team travel would come to about a $10M start up for each program to get going. Then about $2M+ per tram every year to keep each going.
Not impossible at LSU but certainly would need a deep financial dive.

The added Spring TV content on SEC Network, tickets & concessions sales certainly would help. But I really don't know if it would be enough to self sustain.

Throw in wrestling,
LSU used to have NCAA Wrestling back in the mid 70's-mid 80's.

Shaquille O'Neal wasn't the first "Shaq" at LSU.

Head Coach Larry "Coach Shack" Sciacchetano, (Pronounced Sha Kah Tan O) performed a Miracle at LSU and had the Wrestling team in the Top Ten nationally, competing with all those Traditional Wrestling Power Big 10/Big 12 schools.

Matches were in the "Assembly Center" (As it was called back then) and I attended most of them.

It very entertaining; intense, up close and personal.

If I remember correctly, LSU was the only Wrestling program in the SEC back then too.

It would go over big time with LSU fans if they brought it back.........
