First of all, Bobby’s faith was never a “gimmick”. Second, if you think Bobby didn’t have the stomach to compete,…..go look at some of the teams he scheduled back in the early 80’s when he was trying to build that program. Five straight seasons he brought FSU to Death Valley. In one season FSU played 5 consecutive road games at Nebraska, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh and LSU.
