while pole vaulting is definitely technique and training those things in themselves rely on speed, strength, and jumping ability all of which mondo has a ton of. He’s probably the perfect physical makeup for pole vault. Take with that his family’s background in the event and how he grew up training for it he was almost destined for what he’s doing.
