re: Anti-Pit Bull Petition

Let me ask you a hypothetical? If we were to ban pit bulls or put them all down what's next rottweilers, husky's, German Shepards, chihuahuas' it's basically a reverse ban assault weapons argument it's not going to solve anything. I'm aware of the statistics but does anyone ask why these statistics are the way they are and why they happen I know it's illegal to ask questions now but what is the cause of these statistics? And are these statistics prone to manipulation or false info? Or even Media pushing this fear. How bout instead of getting in your feelings come up with solutions crack down on dogfighting make it punishable up to life in prison or the death penalty, fine and jail breeders who breed these dogs with the intent of fighting, have stronger background checks on dog buyers, have shelters list who this dog would be best suited for, and fine and jail owners who are negligent in the care of these dogs and when they do attack unprovoked.
