Bands or Artists that have lost the benefit of the doubt

Who are some bands or artists that you like, did like, or still like that have effectively lost the benefit of the doubt of releasing something good? Basically, just because they release a new album or EP doesn't mean it'll be good.

Any bands from the 90s, 80s, 70s and 60s.
With bands from the 2000s, 10s and 20s who have never put out anything good

Metallica. My favorite band of all time, crazed fan, but everything they release now is some desperate attempt at the old "thrash" that just sounds like a hectic mess of stuck together generic riffs and horrible stop start drumming that makes no sense. I'd be surprised at this point if they release a really good song now
