So now you are trying to move the goal posts to

What? No. I never laid down any "goal posts". I'm critiquing your attempt at comparison as terrible and worthless to this discussion.

That criticism has remained consistent and logical. Nothing has changed in my argument.

Rookies are underpaid if they can start and perform. But they are still considered starters and their salary is taken into account in the rankings of salary.

Yes and I said that's irrelevant to the discussion so those data points are worthless.

That would only be a good argument from a person arguing for a tank or constant churn of 1st round QBs (b/c their salaries are low). Nobody is making that argument, so the data doesn't belong in this discussion.

This was cap charges for 2022.

Again, doesn't take into account the total cost.

Brady's hit in 2022 was about $12M.

His cap hit in 2023 is $35M

I"ll put it to you this way, the hit for 2023 averaged over his 3 years in Tampa Bay alone was almost $12M

This puts his 2022 cost at just under $24M, which is the number that should be used for this comparison.

*ETA: from what I can tell, it looks like Brady was paid $90M for the 3 years, so his actual average payment was $30M/year.

He signed a 2/50 with no restructuring then an extension that paid him $40M

Goal posts, refs, chains, flags, all of it. SFP will cherry pick your argument, his own, the facts, the rumors etc.

He also thinks he is a GM. Loomising, but anti Loomis.
