r I think students would cheer for Wade over lsu
that’d be ridiculous and utterly shameful if that happened, and I don’t think (hopefully) accurate.

I'd cheer for him, at least when they announce him as the starting coach, and then i'd be rooting for the Tigers.
That would be my way to show to the administration and Woodward that i didn't approve of firing Will Wade. and yes i know he was caught, but i don't really give a shite. The players loved him, the students loved him, and the fans loved him, and there was a different feeling about mens basketball that hadn't been felt in a very long time.
I don't think anyone out there expects us to win a national championship in basketball. It's incredibly hard to do today. But making the tourney every year and winning some games is fun as hell.

I mean, it’s easy to see why isn’t it?

In my lifetime, the only time the team was EVER relevant was when Shaq was here, a couple of the Brady years, and basically all the Wade years. That’s 30+ years of mostly apathy and pathetic teams. Just like we have now immediately once Wade is gone.

Not apologizing for enjoying the energy and winning culture he brought. I want the team to be fun and make the tourney almost every season, that’s not asking much imo. It should not be as difficult as it clearly is for a school like LSU.
