Pretty sure seeing people hung would scare drunks to drink at home and not drive. Nowadays you can have 3-4 DUIs before it really affects you.

Modern society has forgotten the main benefit of public hangings is the stark visual example they provide to the consequences of our actions to the public.

I don't know what how seeing guys with big dicks would deter drunks from driving, but I'm open to ideas.

My uncle is a perfect example of this. He's had 4 I believe, didn't spend any time behind bars until his most recent one. What's insane to me is that he's very successful and not some deadbeat. But certainly a piece of shite for not learning his lesson and continuing to risk his and others lives.

But Wisconsin tends to not be the most punitive state when it comes to drunk driving.
