Prison shouldn’t be somewhere people are happy to go to or an accepted way of life but millions of people in this country have not only absolutely no fear of prison but some of them it’s just a way of life. I can find you hundreds of interviews with prisoners and criminals who talk about prison like a home away from home.

Prison, especially for violent and repeat offenders, should be a brutal and crushing experience that functions as a deterrent with an emphasis on rehabilitation and treatment not an adult daycare with a revolving door.
