i remember the post about the music at the tulane game but i didn't realize just how horrible it really was!! anyone know if the athletics department know how much we hate it?

Guys its either a little piped in music or total silence. The CBS breaks are FOREVER...the band can't just never stop playing.

WE? We bein' just you? I love the music! The music doesn't take away from any time that the band is playing. It kills time during commercials...keeps the crowd awake and it is frickin' METAL so of course it will piss most people off....that makes it even better!

I noticed that they didn't pipe in nearly as much as they did for the Tulane game. Seems like after every down they were piping in music. I think the amount that they did for the Bama game was perfect. it was just every so often and then the band played the rest of the time. Because CBS commercials are so long we would need back up band members if they have to play the entire time for every commercial.

First of all...the music is actually uplifting for the players..as opposed to that dull music the band plays during breaks..with all due respect, they could use some better more exciting music..plus the piped in music is jacks up the player more than the band could...
