Some early adopters have free supercharging but they're even offering to buy people out of those now. Everyone else has to pay for consumption.
When did that change? I know Musk has mentioned before his desire that the chargers be free for Tesla owners. I guess it got a bit more expensive than expected?

Been that way for like the last 5 years. It's about $10 per stop to supercharge on a trip from my experience. Not exactly breaking the bank.
