Miles not taking the RNC seriously?

While in the mist of the chase for the RNC why would Miles sign Hicks? His star value is not that high. When you add him on top of low star value players such as Garrett, Downs, Wiliford, Helton, Ferrell, and Ainsworth. With higher star value players still on the board and limited schollys why take the lower star value players at this time?

Miles does not want the star average to be high. Think of the expectations that come with that. He is doing whatever he can to keep the average low. Word is he is looking at taking two-three linemen who have commited to low tier schools, but he wants to make sure they stay a 1 star.

word on the street is that Miles doesn't even check Rivals or Scout star rankings before offering a player, that's f'd up. How does he know who's good or not if he doesn't check how many stars they have first?

I am sure Les Miles gives a shite about the "RNC" as you put it. I think plugging in players who can help his team, some immediately is a more pressing concern.
