I looked in GHIN, and I make two more pars per round now compared to one tee back.

It helps, but moving up has not improved my basic swing, putting, or chipping.

That is why I’ve started some lessons. In January, I took a putting lesson. In February, chipping. In March, I plan to have a full swing session.

If I can gain 1 shot from improving each area, that would be great. Of course, as the weather improves, performance will likely improve some based on conditions. I don’t know anyone who is playing their best golf right now on a wet, cold, soggy course. When the time change comes, playing more will help as well.

One day, I played 36 holes on the same 9 holes, one 9 from each tee box. Had basically the same score from all four boxes.

I don't play enough right now, so I'm actually better from further away from the green than closer to the green. I have no touch and would rather a stock full swing than something half or 3/4.
