Nope that’s subsidence from not getting the sediment naturally deposited by the ms river since the corp of engineers tamed it and force it to dump all of its land building potential off the continental shelf. No fresh water and the marsh grass dies out and washes away. The land loss in south la is the direct result of altering a natural estuary
