I think Texan politicians usually don’t flaunt their corruption quite as much and usually when it happens people go after it from both sides of the aisle.

The Harris County judge got caught awarding a more expensive bid to a political ally. She got called on it (by her own party) and at least had the decency to cancel the contract.

SWB and Cantrell wouldn’t even bat an eye.
