I used to be strict about dogs not coming in the house for anything. If it was below freezing they would stay in the garage. I don't know why I changed, but as I got older I let them inside more and more. Now my two dogs are inside 95% of the time. I'm generally happier now than I was before, the dogs may be part of the reason.
