A team can’t shoot when Alavarado, Marshall and Herb 3/4/5 in
3PA. They were available for peanuts for a reason - they are terrible shooters.

Acquire better shooters maybe? Get healthy?

Our front office has focused entirely on versatility, length and defense, hoping that shooting could be later taught.

While that has been solid, we have to get some microwaves on this roster.

Bingo. You can’t expect Vinson to boost everyone’s 3 point percentage by 4 points. Some guys will show solid improvement, some will improve a lot, and others the methods/training just won’t take. He’s just like any other coach in that regard. But he’s had some clear successes and his reputation is stellar throughout the league. Letting go of him would be a mistake imo.

I mean what players do the Pels have that were good shooters at the time we acquired them? CJ and Trey? BI and Josh Richardson, kinda?
