I mean, you don't need to be sexually attracted to a person to have an erection. There are ways to "manufacture" one. I've had sex with a woman exactly once in my life (when I still thought I could become straight) and it was the most dry experience I've ever had. But it was possible to get an erection by going sex free for a while (at least a week) prior and then using the hands to ease things. But there is no love involved, very "mechanical" sex.

Those prisoners don't become gay. They almost certainly are more aroused by the dominance and power they exert over the men they are having sex with rather than the actual sex itself. The actual pleasure they get is probably no different from masturbation and can absolutely not be compared to that they would have with women. At least based on my experience, that's what I believe.
