I will likely be right at or just under 40 when I have my first. I’ve wondered if I would’ve preferred having kids younger, but I’m glad we didn’t. There are times when I think the scraping by and doing it on ramen but doing it as kids lifestyle sounds fun and romantic, but I’m fine how we’ll be doing it.
I’m very secure financially, the wife is still really young so should be fine financially, and we’ll be able to hire any and all help we need so we (hopefully) don’t look like a pair of poor, distressed zombies like so many of my friends looked like who had theirs young did lol.

at 41 & 43. No issues here, I feel like Im way more laid back on things that probably wouldve bothered me in the past. Yes I'm the oldest dad at the ball field but doesnt bother me one bit. & private school is much more manageable in my current situation.
