I'm guessing the states with the strictest lockdowns during covid will be on that list.

Yep it will eventually come down to charging your Tesla for work the next morning, sleeping in the ac , taking a hot shower or cooking a meal. Can’t have that many high amperage appliances running at once.

Homes are going to need load shedding switchboards before long.

Not only that, in crisis scenarios (especially winter ones), there's nothing like knowing your hot water heater, stove, and oven are all gas-operated.

Hell, throw in a natural gas wall heater and it's been very clutch in bad situations.

Between banning gas stoves and forcing electric cars on us, this is the reality. Almost like its deliberate. Can't have the populace mobile and able to feed themselves when the government shuts off the electricity.
