What are your thoughts on the influenza vaccine? Cause that is also required of anyone wanting to be on the transplant list. Has been required wayyyy before COVID and I never saw a thread on here about people being upset about people being denied a transplant for refusing a flu shot

Vaccine requirements have always been a thing for those needing a donor organ. We simply don’t have enough organs for everyone needing them so making sure every possible measure taken for an optimal post transplant outcome is standard.

Not to mention, what are the odds she doesn't want to take one of the immunosuppressants after the fact? The docs see her balking here and can't help but wonder what it'll be down the road next.

Seems like the posters here want her to be free from consequences from her choices. Which is not surprisingly different from their usual stance on many issues. This is different though I'm sure for...reasons.

Don't get them because they aren't vaccines either. Got Polio and Measle vax as a child, know what I never got infected with?
