Main reason for pulsechain is HEX. The gas fees to end stake have been insane sometimes. Imagine what it would cost 15 years from now. Eth purposely raised s load which in turn screws hex stakers. Eth 2.0 is pulsechain testnet in theory. We are still waiting on the Shanghai fork. Probably looking like November launch. Also Richard loves his devs.
