For those at the game, on the blocked field goal, how loud was it when you were there.....here is my experience with that moment. Sittin at home, watching, of course, the camera is shooting from behind the goal post.....now keep in mind, all of this stuff happens in a matter of seconds, the kick goes up, and it looks like it is heading straight and good just a little low. It had already been blocked but the ball goes straight up in the air and is still end over end, but there is this swell of noise, and my first though was, "Did Bama bring that many people with them to be that loud?" Then the trajectory changed and Lundquist says "Blocked".....after that, of course, it was "chaos in the living room" because I had about 10 LSU family and friends there. Anyway, other than the Auburn game last year, that's the loudest I've heard the stadium on tv in a long time. Just wondering how it sounded there.

i couldnt hear myself think in the front row of the student section. honestly i didnt know what to think in the first place. i just kept going back and forth hugging friends and random people. at that moment, it was my greatest experience in Tiger Stadium, but with the loss i'd say the auburn game was barely better.

I was in the Northeast corner of the endzone, and was watching the kick, but really had to rely on crowd reaction from the South endzone, but it registered that it was blocked. I was hugging everybody around me and thought it was loud, but not near as loud as I have ever heard it because I think most people were in shock. Now if Beckwith would have run it back and scored I honestly believe that Tiger Stadium would have collapsed.

To be honest, everything felt like it was in slow motion and I couldn't hear a thing.

You get to see a lot of the game you miss live, I think there is nothing better than being in Tiger Stadium, but replays are fantastic. I noticed Beckwith keep getting pushed(I mean pussed) around. Besides that the D did play better. Overall a good game. Our weakness showed but we will get better. A lot of talent on this team.

On a similar note, how did the atmosphere sound on TV....I was at the game, and wondering if it sounded as crazy on TV compared to other stadiums.....not just the blocked kick, but the entire game....any commentary about the noise and atmosphere from the CBS commentators?

I couldn't watch...and was covering my face with my hands. I was just going to listen for the crowd noise to see whether it was good or bad. It sounded like the stadium exploded. I swear 100 drinks flew into the air. What a great moment. I thought, with this kind of momentum, there's no way we'll lose...

It was loud. I was in the Southwest corner and it was loud as hell. The only thing I remember being louder was when Skyler Green caught his touchdown pass in front of the student section - GA 2003, and thats because I was in the student section. IMO, I think it was louder then when Byrd caught the TD last year against Auburn.

I also wasn't watching. I was sitting down and then the crowd went crazy. My husband was jumping up and down then I was jumping up and down. It was definitely one of those moments that will stay with me in Tiger Stadium, but then it was also, for me, the single most devastating loss. I was like Tim Tebow after the florida game. I was crying when they blocked it then I was crying when.......well you know what happened.

For the most part, I could tell it was loud throughout the game. The announcers didn't reference it but maybe once, but then again, it was CBS. Compared to other stadiums, it didn't seem as loud for periods of time, but, when it got loud, it got loud. I think it may top Georgia '03 by a hair on tv. That swell/wall of noise felt like the field mics were in the middle of the crowd. My windows vibrated from my surround sound. It was nuts!
