The Super Bowl might be a tad different because halftime is closer to 40 minutes than the normal 12 minute halftime.

I'm not trying to dispute what a HOF QB claims, but it just seems pretty crazy to me to think that coaches never look at things, and make some changes in scheme/personnel at halftime if needed.

There’s probably some misunderstanding here. The players aren’t making the adjustments. The coordinators are probably making adjustments to their playcalling and/or digging deeper into the plays they’ve designed for the game.
