Sourdough King Cake recipe

Anyone have a good one they can point me to? I have done the one by Artisanbryan but it did not come out right and judging by the comments, something is off with the recipe.

Just use some regular yeast weirdo.

ETA Look up a sourdough brioche recipe and use that as your dough.

I have never used yeast before. Always used the natural thing.

Salt percent is way off

Need at least 2% salt. :::20 grams plus 2 grams for the flour in your starter

Sugar is too high
Most king cakes have half that amount of sugar
