Our fanbase and market doesn’t have the stomach to bottom out and actually become a real contender again. The “winners” would rather keep applying a bunch of bandaids and kicking the can. Our coaching staff and front office is strictly in self preservation mode at this time.

Only morons would rather watch a mediocre team year after year rather than just bottom out and rebuild. Most smart people understand being in the middle every year is a terrible place to be.
