Who really cares what name is or isn't on the basketball court? Probably very few people outside of Baton Rouge care and I'm sure no one outside of Louisiana cares unless Brando tells them they are supposed to care. I'm a huge lifelong fan and graduate of LSU and I don't care. Simple solution to all this silliness...men's games put Brown on the court, women's games put Gunter on the court. That is the only time anyone sees the court anyway. Bigger question, if Mulkey wins multiple Natty's then what do they do?

That would be Dale.

I think that would be awesome.

I’m getting the impression people are upset because of who proposed it

I want the Sue sideline.
The Pokey foul line,
The DD balance beam,
the Dale sound system (so he can whine on).
the Curly concession stand,
The Smoke L BBQ pit,
The Help Mac 6 Pack
This crap is getting stupid.

Agreed, or at least hold off to naming it when the program is good?

I get why people are upset. It got voted on. One person was opposed. The next year, same person cries to JBE about it and now it's up for change. Louisiana politics intervening unnecessarily.

Dale Brown left LSU with sanctions and zero national titles, so it blows my mind that either he and Sue Gunter would ever have gotten the court named after them.

Dale went to 10 straight NCAA tourneys and two Final Fours. After Pete, Dale was LSU basketball.

I guess the fact that everyone is different and has their own opinion... is something that makes people who they are.

The OP doesn't care, but who are you to tell others what they should or shouldn't care about.

Is Dale the most accomplished men's basketball coach that LSU has had? Is Sue the most accomplished women's basketball coach? They should have known that this would become an issue in today's society. And guess what... had that court been named after Sue instead of Dale, this topic would still be happening, just the names would be reversed.
