Not sure if they ever explained this decision. But it's typical of that Chinese Fire Drill (pun intended), Joe Biden and his pals are running up there in Washington, D.C.

I heard one report (unsubstantiated) the reason was the DOD was afraid the balloon would fall and hit somebody on 'his whittle head'. Plugs tried playing CYA by insisting he ordered the thing shot down last Wednesday. Who knows what the real story is with this bunch?

To be honest, this smells like Mark Milley had a hand in this. Like maybe they strung this thing out as a desperate effort to divert attention from the Hunter - ChiCom - Big Guy fiasco. Now they're saying - Donald Trump did it. The Swamp is really terrified of another Trump Presidency.

Hopefully that GOP hearing scheduled for next week will cast some light on this debacle (aka balloongate, or "How I watched a Chinese Spy Balloon disappear like a fart in the wind"),
